Wesley Spectrum Family & Child Development Center

Children with Autism and other developmental disabilities need specialized help in a facility oriented to maximize their abilities. We encourage learning one-on-one, in groups with other children and in family settings. All our services help a child with Autism progress at his or her own rate, extending feelings of hope and accomplishment throughout the family.

Wonder Kids Clubs: These small-therapeutic group sessions help a child with Autism disorders (ages 4 to 19) relate to peers and develop relationships. He or she will learn communication skills, cooperative play, and appropriate behaviors by being a good sport and navigating social interactions like greetings, manners, making friends and sharing. A teenager may explore the transition to adulthood, making vocational and educational choices. To be eligible for Wonder Kids Club, a child must be capable of basic communication, exhibit limited self-stimulatory behavior and function with a 3:1 client to staff ratio.

Wraparound Services: A child diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) can have tremendous potential to learn but may also have difficulty communicating and socializing with other people. The Wesley Spectrum Family & Child Development Center Wraparound Services offers individualized, needs-driven therapy at home that includes the entire family. We provide early intervention, Applied Behavior Analysis, and relational therapy to support normalized and inclusive options for youth with complex needs, helping each child reach his or her highest level of independence.
