Family Services

When a child has a problem, the whole family has a problem.

When children and adolescents are truant, angry or emotionally distressed, parents become stressed and families can break down. Wesley Spectrum Services provides structured therapies and support to reunite families and strengthen these relationships. We also offer guidance for mental health treatment, food, housing and employment through our array of services and strong community partnerships.

However, when family relationships are threatened, a child or teen can be at risk for abuse or neglect, a danger to themselves or others. Then, children need a safe place to live. Wesley Spectrum provides these children with therapeutic temporary shelter services, foster parents, and in some cases, permanent adoptive families.

Our underlying goal is always to help parents strengthen positive relationships with their children, and work toward family integrity and reunification. Only when they have a safe place to live and strong family bonds, can children grow and learn to their full potential, becoming productive individuals who contribute to their communities.
