Kid-Centered Measurement
Measurement is how we manage success. It’s a snapshot of a child’s development at one moment in time. Using Kid-Centered Measurement, success is measured every moment of every day through professional staff interaction and structured tools. It also keeps parents closely involved in the measurement process that drives the decision-making for their child. By monitoring and quantifying progress, we are able to know what is working, or not working for a particular child much sooner, and we can make better decisions about needed adjustments.
